According to Wageningen University & Research, an estimated 12,000 cows suffer injuries each year from eating metal cans, and approximately 4,000 die as a result. In total, there are 3.8 million cattle in the Netherlands. With this sign, you warn people not to thoughtlessly throw away drink cans.

Use/placement
This sign should be placed every 50 meters along roads and bicycle paths.

Important to know
Sharp objects in cows can be prevented by providing the cow with a stomach magnet. Please note! Metal cans are not magnetic, which is why they are so harmful to cows.
