The live trap is equipped with one large and one small opening. The large opening is activated when a rat attempts to take the bait. 

Below is the step-by-step plan for catching multiple rats.

1. Open the large opening.
2. Place a NARA Bloc, or other bait, on the designated bait holder.
3. Set the trap by connecting the catch on the door to the bait holder.
4. The trap is now ready for catching.
5. When a rat enters the trap through the large opening and attempts to take the bait, the locking mechanism will be triggered and the door will slam shut. The door is equipped with an extra barrier that makes escape impossible.
6. The rat is trapped.
7. Now the second, smaller opening functions to trap multiple rats. This opening has a special construction that allows for entry, but there is no way back out.
8. When the trap has caught one or more rats, it can be moved easily and safely using the handle.
