Excellent Stomach Magnet

Cattle stomach magnet

The stomach magnet for cattle is used to protect against sharp objects in cows. Ingested sharp objects and materials end up at the bottom of the reticulum and can cause inflammation in the stomach. By providing each heifer with a stomach magnet, sharp materials bind to the magnet, preventing (further) damage.

Description:
New research on 1,491 cows shows that nearly 10% of the cows (= 143 cows) had lesions in the reticulum or rumen. The research has proven a reduction in the incidence of traumatic reticulitis in cows that were equipped with a stomach magnet.

To be administered via: Stainless steel inserter 40 mm INSE020, KS inserter INSE015 and KS inserter INSE001.
