Complete Loer wasp trap
How does the Loer wasp trap work?
The Loer wasp trap catches wasps by deceiving the queen wasps.
The black ball is heated by the sun and moves gently back and forth. The wasp is attracted by this moving heat source, and mistakes the black ball for prey. It lands on the ball, stings, and then flies up disappointedly (towards the light). It then ends up in the collection reservoir via the funnel.
