Larvenol 4GR 5 kg

Larvicide based on the active ingredient S-methoprene for controlling housefly, stable fly, and drone fly (rat-tailed maggot) larvae in manure.

May be applied indoors on manure in enclosed pig, cattle, and poultry barns, as well as in pens and other livestock buildings. Outdoors, the product may be applied to manure in a watertight and insulated manure pit.

Larvenol 4GR is easy to apply by scattering.

Larvenol 4GR acts on the 3rd larval stage. The advantage of this is that good results are still achieved with late treatment.

Treat every new layer of manure again with Larvenol 4GR.

Areas of application

Indoors in enclosed pig, cattle, and poultry barns. Outdoors in a watertight and insulated manure pit.

Dosage

30 grams per m2

Pig barns, Cattle barns:

• Slatted floor: Apply on the 3rd day after placing new animals. Treat the entire floor of the manure pit. Treatment must be repeated after each removal of manure.
• Litter: Apply on each new layer of litter and repeat the treatment whenever the layer has increased by 8-10 cm.

• Cage: Treat the accumulated manure (every 10 cm thick layer) under the cages.
• Litter: Apply on each new layer of litter and repeat the treatment whenever the layer has increased by 10 cm.

In very dry substrates (e.g., chicken litter), the product may have a slower effect. Adding 100-200 ml of water/m2 to the substrate increases the larvicidal effect under very dry conditions.

Use for manure in goat and sheep pens not permitted.

Manure stored outdoors:

This may only be treated if the manure is in a watertight, insulated manure pit and complies with other conditions for safe manure storage. When treating manure stored outdoors, use a product dosage of 30 g/m2.
