Sugar content in Horslyx

Horslyx contains little sugar in proportion to the feed that horses receive daily. For example, a 500 kg horse eats 50 kg of grass daily, which contains as much as 2000 g of sugar. When the same horse takes 0.25 kg of Horslyx per day, the horse receives 82.5 g of sugar. Because horses consume so little Horslyx daily, they receive little extra sugar. In addition, horses can tolerate sugar well, especially when they consume small amounts throughout the day (such as while grazing or licking a lick).
