Amount of sugar in Horslyx

Horslyx contains little sugar in proportion to the feed horses consume daily. For example, a 500 kg horse eats 50 kg of grass daily, which contains as much as 2000 g of sugar. When the same horse consumes 0.25 kg of Horslyx per day, it takes in 82.5 g of sugar. Because horses consume so little Horslyx daily, they receive little extra sugar. In addition, horses can tolerate sugar well, especially if they consume small amounts spread throughout the day (such as while grazing or licking a lick).
