Halamid-D is pre-eminently suitable as a disinfectant in dairy farming. It can be used for disinfecting teats and preventing contamination of milking equipment. Halamid-D is therefore widely used for teat disinfection, cleaning of milking equipment, stable disinfection for calves, and disinfecting milk buckets. The agent is effective against pathogens while remaining mild on animals.
Cattle
Halamid-D is a powerful yet mild disinfectant that can be widely used in cattle farming. It effectively combats major pathogens such as Salmonella, E. coli, enterobacteria, ECBO virus, foot-and-mouth disease virus, Aujeszky's disease virus, poxvirus, and vaccinia virus. Thanks to its versatile formulation, Halamid-D can be applied in various ways, including wet spraying, nebulization (including thermal fogging), air disinfection, foot baths, cleaning of water systems, wheel and foot baths, and vehicle disinfection.
Pigs

Halamid-D is a disinfectant that derives its effectiveness from bound chlorine and oxygen. Halamid-D enters into a chemical reaction (essentially an oxidative reaction) with microorganisms. Development of resistance is therefore impossible. The agent combats bacteria, yeasts, and viruses. The strength of Halamid-D lies in its broad spectrum of activity on the one hand, and its mildness for the user, for materials, for the animals, and for the environment on the other. Halamid-D is supplied in powder form per bucket and includes a measuring scoop, making it easy and accurate to dose. The disinfectant dissolves easily in water (maximum concentration 10% at 15°C).
