Dairy Energy Bolus 24 x 160 g

The Dairy Energy Bolus is a bolus with a fast-acting component containing readily available glucogenic energy sources (propionates) and a long-acting component containing, among others, live yeast, plant extracts, vitamins, trace elements, and amino acids to support liver function and stimulate rumen activity. It thus provides multiple support for reducing the risk of ketosis (acetonemia).

Composition:
Glucose syrup, vegetable stearic acid, rapeseed oil, dicalcium phosphate, and magnesium stearate.

Fast-acting (dissolves within 8h):

Feeding advice:
To reduce the risk of ketosis in the risk period between 3 weeks before and 6 weeks after calving:
Administer 1 bolus preventively the day before or the day of calving and repeat after a few hours.
During periods of increased energy demand, administer 2 boluses per day for 2-3 days.
