Colostrum meter

With the Colostrummeter, you can measure the immunoglobulin content in the colostrum.
This allows you to quickly and easily assess the quality of the colostrum. If the quality of the colostrum is good (above 1045), you can freeze it for later use.
 
Reading & results
Colostrum with an SG (Specific Gravity) of less than 1035 (red zone) = low in immunoglobulins.
SG between 1035 and 1045 (light green zone) = moderate in immunoglobulins.
SG above 1045 (dark green zone) = high in immunoglobulins.
